Video conferencing (VCS) is a telecommunications technology that enables interactive communication between three or more remote users. It enables them to communicate audio and video data in real time while also exchanging control information.

IP Telephony. IP telephony refers to a collection of communication protocols, technologies, and techniques that enable two-way audio communication, classic telephone dialing, and video communication via the Internet or any other IP networks. In order to minimize information redundancy and lessen the strain on the data transmission network, the signal over the communication channel is typically transformed (compressed) before transmission. This ensures that the signal is transferred in digital form.
