Network Hardware
Active equipment includes electronic circuitry that may convert energy, amplify signals, and carry out other tasks while being powered by the electrical grid or other sources (batteries, accumulators, solar panels, generators, etc.).
This refers to the equipment's capacity to process the signal utilizing unique algorithms. Each data packet that is transmitted via a network also includes technical information about its source, intended use, information integrity, and other factors that enable the packet to reach its destination.
In addition to receiving and transmitting the signal, active network equipment also processes this technical data, rerouting and allocating incoming streams in accordance with the algorithms stored in the device's memory. Active equipment is distinguished from other equipment by its "smart" function and mains power.
